Startlogic php web hosting plan is linux server and support .htaccess overwrite. Startlogic hosting is using vdeck control panel, you can login to vdeck control panel to configure your account, website, and also perform some setting like url redirection, add remove domain, add remove email account, add remove database etc.
.htaccess overwrite give you some extra features like permalink url, clean url, protected folder, permanent url redirection etc. These are few common use of .htaccess file.
To change your .htaccess file content, you can ftp upload the .htaccess file to startlogic server. By this it will replace the existing .htaccess file setting.
Note that startlogic windows hosting & any other windows hosting plan is not supporting .htaccess file. .htaccess is a feature available in php linux server only.
